Police Identify Warwick Woman Killed Friday On I-295

SMITHFIELD, RI — State police have released the name of the woman who died in a rollover crash on I-295 on Friday. She is Kyla Vinacco, 30, of Warwick.

The accident happened on I-295 North near Farnum Pike, state police said. Her car went off the road around 8:35 a.m. and rolled over. She was ejected. Rescue workers took her to Rhode Island Hospital, where she later died.

The accident is still under investigation. Lt, Col. Kevin Barry said the police are trying to determine what events led up to the accident and caused the driver to leave the road.

"It's a tragedy," he said.
