Relay for Life of Greater Smithfield

Relay for Life of Greater Smithfield is sponsoring a Family Fun Day on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 4pm-8pm at Deerfield Park (ball field at Blackhawk Trail).  Events and entertainment include:

Touch-a-Truck

Petting Zoo by Warm & Fuzzy Animal Adventures (until 6pm)

DJ Roland Coutu with a bubble show & more

Balloon animals with Pepper the Entertainer (until 6pm)

Home Depot Kids Workshop

Silly Kids Yoga with Stacy (4:30pm only)

Knockerball

This family fun day is in conjunction with the Relay for Life of Greater Smithfield event.  The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life events are life-changing cancer fundraising events that help communities across the globe fight back against cancer.  In addition to the Family Fun Day, the Relay's highlights include a vendor craft show, a performance by the Smithfield High School Vocal Ensemble, a survivor & caregiver dinner (provided by Uncle Ronnie's Red Tavern) and ends with a touching lunimaria ceremony where loved ones are honored and remembered.
