Smithfield Police Seek SUV Possibly Involved in Rim and Tire Theft
Police said the vehicle was recorded driving back and forth near a house where a car was stripped of its rims and tires.
The Smithfield Police Department is hoping the public can help them identify a suspect vehicle they believe might be connected to the theft of rims and cars from a Willow Road residence in December.
On Thursday, the department released a grainy image of a SUV that reportedly was seen driving back and forth near the residence the night of the larceny.
The SUV was in the area between 4:25 and 4:50 a.m. on Dec. 19.
