• Tiverton Intersection Work Starts Sept. 8 (upriseri.com) — Starting September 8, a major crosswalk and signal upgrade at Puncateest Neck, Main, and East roads in Tiverton will bring about 90 days of lane restrictions and overnight alternating traffic. The RIDOT project will overhaul signals, sidewalks, and curb ramps on Routes 77 and 179, so drivers and pedestrians should plan for delays and detours.
   

• Rhode Island residents demand answers after PFAS found in wells near fire station (thecooldown.com) — Residents near Tiverton Fire Station 3 are dealing with high PFAS levels in their private wells and pressing town officials for clearer answers on health risks, medical costs, and long-term fixes.
