• Classical stars to perform benefit concert in Little Compton (heraldnews.com) — A classical benefit concert in nearby Little Compton on Sept. 19 will raise money for food banks that directly serve Tiverton and surrounding communities. World-class musicians Umi Garrett and Nina Bernat will perform an afternoon recital at St. Andrew's by-the-Sea, with all proceeds supporting local food assistance programs in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
