• Sarah B. Chilabato (1925-2026) (thenewportbuzz.com) — A 100-year-old Portsmouth resident has passed away at Brookdale Nursing Home in Tiverton, with funeral and graveside services set for Wednesday in Middletown. Her long life spanned wartime service with U.S. forces, years running Pat's Diner in Newport, and a later career in banking, and she leaves a large family rooted in Portsmouth and Newport County.
