Amicable Church in Tiverton will host a "Blessing of the Animals" service this coming Sunday, October 13 at 10:00 A.M. inside it's sanctuary. All are invited to this community event, along with their four footed, finned, furry or feather pets for a special blessing by Rev. Bill Sterrett. In lieu of a pet, those attending may bring a photo of a pet or a favorite stuffed animal. (All pets must be on a leash, in a carrier, or in a cage.) Participants may also bring cat food or dog food in support of Litehouse Animal Shelter, a new facility in the community. Local folk singer, Seamus Galligan, will provide special music in the service.
