Another Weekend of Snow for Tiverton-Little Compton

Light snow is in the forecast for Tiverton and Little Compton Saturday and we're more than a week into spring.

We’re already a week into spring—but this is New England so it should come as no surprise that more snow is on the way.

A little less than an inch of snow will cover the region Saturday. Parts of the coast could get as much as 3 inches.

Here’s the Tiverton and Little Compton forecast:

  • Friday: Rain showers are likely before 4 a.m. Cloudy, with a low around 33 degrees. Less than a tenth of an inch of snow is possible.
  • Saturday: Snow showers. High of 37. Less than one inch of snow accumulation is expected.
  • Saturday night: Snow showers are likely before 9 p.m. Low of 25. About 1 to 2 inches of snow accumulation is expected.
  • Sunday: Chance of showers after noon. Partly sunny, with a high around 47.

It will be the 10th straight weekend of snow in the Boston area, NWS reports.
