Amicable Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, is pleased to announce the return of the Tiverton Community Thanksgiving Baskets, a community-wide effort to help local families enjoy a warm and plentiful Thanksgiving meal.
From October 6 through November 12, Thanksgiving basket vouchers will be available for Tiverton and Little Compton families at the Tiverton Public Library.
Families requesting a basket only need to provide their name, address, and the number of people in their household. Each Thanksgiving basket will include all the fixings for a Thanksgiving dinner and much more.
Voucher Pickup at Tiverton Library
Vouchers may be picked up at the Tiverton Library during the following hours:
**Mondays: 12:00–2:00 p.m.
**Thursdays: 5:00–7:00 p.m.
Please note: There will be no voucher pickup on October 12, as the library will be closed.
Thanksgiving Baskets will be distributed Saturday, November 21, 2026
The Thanksgiving Basket program is sponsored by Amicable Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, with the generosity and support of many local businesses, churches, organizations, and
individuals throughout the community. “This program is a wonderful example of what can happen when a community comes together to support its neighbors,” said representatives of Amicable Church. “We are grateful to everyone whose generosity helps make Thanksgiving a little brighter for local families.” Thanksgiving baskets are limited to families residing in Tiverton and Little Compton.
