Crashes in Little Compton Knock Out Mailboxes, Rose Bush

Nobody was hurt in three separate accidents.

Little Compton police reported three accidents in town last week and fortunately, nobody was hurt.

On April 1, a 19-year-old Little Compton woman was driving west on Colebrook Road when she lost control.

Police said the teen left the roadway onto the soft shoulder, overcorrected, struck a tree, fence, rose bush and unoccupied car parked at 190 Colebrook Road.

The driver was unharmed but her car sustained heavy front-end damage, police said.

The unoccupied car suffered functional damage to the rear passenger door, police said.

On April 2, police said a 48-year-old East Main Road, Little Compton, man struck a parked car belonging to a 48-year-old Kranski Lake Road, WI, man, as he was backing up to exit a driveway.

Both cars had minor damage.

Later on April 2, a 16-year-old Little Compton girl was trying to turn out of her driveway on West Main Road when she struck three mailboxes. Nobody was hurt and the car suffered minor damage.
