The 13th Everett J. Platt Memorial Charity Golf Tournament is Saturday, Sept. 24 at Lakeville Country Club at 44 Clear Pond Road, Lakeville, MA. The event is on rain or shine.
It is sponsored by the Tiverton Lions Club.
The cost is $100 per player, with a 1 p.m. tee-off time and check-in at 12 p.m. The tournament is in a shotgun scramble format.

The day includes 18 holes of golf, cart, a chicken barbecue, dinner, a souvenir t-shirt and prizes. There are also prizes available for hole-in-one, the top three teams, longest drive and more.
