A hands-on cooking class taught by Renita Mendonca in the beautiful new Sandywoods Kitchen takes place Oct. 2. Space is limited to just 15 people, so please call 401-241-7349 before Sept. 29th to reserve your spot!
The menu for the evening includes Vietnamese spring rolls, Thai beef satays with peanut sauce, Indian paneer, and Asian-style marinated pork loin with mango relish.
The cost is $40.00 per person. All proceeds will go to support arts and agricultural programming at Sandywoods.
Chef Mendonca has many years of experience in the culinary and hospitality industry. She is presently a culinary instructor at the Cambridge Institute of Culinary Arts, where she teaches adult classes in Thai, Indian, Mediterranean, and Middle Eastern cuisine.
