Womens Club SWANS Presents: Dinner and Book/Video Discussion on "The Last Lecture"
"The Last Lecture" is a book written as a summary of a lecture Professor Randy Pausch taught at Carnegie Mellon.
It is a tradition at Carnegie Mellon for teachers to do a "Last Lecture" where they imagine what they would want to teach if they knew they were going to die soon. Randy was actually dying of cancer when he gave his presentation which made it all the more poignant. His messaged touched so many hearts that the lecture became an internet phenomenon and Randy was on many news outlets. You can read the book or view the lecture on line HERE.
