Dundery Brook Trail Walk

Abigail Brooks of Sakonnet Preservation Association and Scott Comings of The Nature Conservancy will lead a walk on the recently completed Dundery Brook Trail.  A boardwalked and handicapped accessible 1/2 mile trail leads from the Town lot near the Tennis Courts through wetland woods, across the Dundery Brook, to a pond in the Nature Conservancy's Bumble Bee Preserve.  The trail continues on a mown grassy path for another 1/4 mile along the edge of a former stock pond, providing an opportunity to observe wooded wetland, meadow and pond habitat. All are welcome.  Children under the age of 12 should be accompanied by an adult.  Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome, dogs are prohibited.
