Shining Star is a co-creation of a talented crew. Puppeteer Jeanne DelGiudice, founding director of Calypso Puppets, trained with Bill Baird in NYC and performs with the marionettes and puppets she creates in MV and Providence. Lisa Abbatomarco, educated at Chicago Art Institute, is a multi-talented artist, musician, actor and puppeteer, as well as Outreach Program Director for Theatre Arts Education at St. Andrews. Actor and puppeteer Steve Lynch performs regularly with Empire Review at AS220 in Providence and Big Nazo Puppets.
The musical 'Shining Star' is written by Maya Soaringsun, author and producer of Sing and Hum, a book, CD, and APP teaching children to use music to ease challenges, SingandHum.com, as well as a visual artist, GalleryofMaya.com. 'Shining Star' teaches children to find the light of their inner star' and join together to shine on earth!
