On Saturday, December 3 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Amicable Congregational Church at Tiverton Four Corners will be holding its annual Holiday Bazaar. A wide variety of crafts, knit and crocheted items, wreaths, centerpieces and nearly new gift items will be available for sale. A Kids' Corner booth will be set up for children to purchase inexpensive gifts for their family and friends. A Christmas cookie sale will be held where a large assortment of home-baked cookies may be purchased by the pound. A country store booth will offer sharp cheddar cheese, baked goods, relishes, jams, jellies and other preserves, along with pre-made meals such as soup, stew and lasagna. Coffee and pastry will be served in the morning followed by a luncheon of soup, salad, sandwiches, beverages and dessert. The event is open to the public, there is no charge for admission, and all those who attend are welcome to register for the free door prize drawing. At 6:00 PM that evening a roast beef dinner will be served in the dining room. The menu will include roast beef, scalloped potatoes, carrots, beverage and dessert. Free will donations will be taken at the door. For more information, please contact the church office at 624-4611.
