Flowering of Art, an exhibit of new works by nationally-known artist Don Cadoret of Tiverton, will be showing at the McGuire Fine Arts Center at Portsmouth Abbey School from April 20 to May 11. A special opening night with
the artist is set for April 20 from 6 to 8 pm.
Included in the exhibit will be new works centered on the theme of flowers and how they are incorporated into the story. Cadoret, a self-taught artist, refers to his
work as story paintings and has been working in a narrative style for more than 35 years. The artist is also an avid gardener and incorporates that passion into this
grouping of new works that are highly detailed and saturated.
