The Sogkonate Garden Club will host an illustrated talk on composting. Sejal Lanterman, staff member of the URI Outreach Center and NBC10 Plant Pro host, will explain the fundamentals of composting and discuss its benefits as a valuable soil enrichment that saves landfill space and reduces town tipping fees. The program will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Little Compton Community Center. It is free and open to the public.The Sogkonate Garden Club is a member of the R.I. Federation of Garden Clubs.
