"the mEEp pROject" ~ an all-ages fantasy play

"the mEEp pROject" is an original all-ages play about the power of fellowship and community.  mEEps are little beings who live on a tiny, remote island, and who take absolute joy in sharing and playing together.  They happily travel to the beach everyday to see what will wash up onshore and make the most out of every gift, big or small, that the ocean sends their way.  Their world is turned upside down, however, when an unusual container washes ashore with strange creatures called "somethings" inside.  Will the mEEps' happy little community fall?  Will they mEEp their way out of disaster?  These are the big questions in this charming tale.  

Presented by Summer On Stage, Westport's own Theatre day camp, to kick off the 2012 camp season, "the mEEp pROject" features professional actors from the hit Philadelphia professional production of the show, as well as some of our own SOS kid campers in a performance that is sure to delight and inspire.
