This is a new date for the Walkathon to benefit the new Tiverton Library, sponsored by the Library Friends group, which was rained out previously on June 2.
On Saturday, June 16, beginning at 9 am, you, your family and friends can walk [or sponsor walkers] to benefit the new Tiverton Library. The walk will take place at the Tiverton High School track, 100 North Brayton Rd, which is handicapped accessible and stroller-friendly.
Join the crowd in support of the new library! To pre-register to participate, download and complete the registration form at www.tivertonlibrary.org, or pick up a form at Essex or Union Library during operating hours. Registrations will also be taken at the walkathon, beginning at 8am.
Walkers will be receiving a Walk-a-thon t-shirt as well as be eligible for raffle prizes.
