Join Tiverton Middle School's Physical Education Department as it celebrates the unveiling of a mural at its new fitness center.
Earlier this year, the Physical Education Department received a grant from NFL Play 60 to build the fitness center at the school. Some of the money from that grant was put aside to have a mural painted in the room where the fitness center is going to be.
With a group of eight students ranging from 5th to 7th graders, the school recently finished the art, which took about six weeks to complete.
Next Monday, May 16, the school will be holding a small opening to unveil the work to the school and parents of the students involved. The opening will be held from 6 to 6:30 p.m. at the site of the soon-to-be fitness center. Hope you can join us!
