This dog was found roaming the Little Compton area near Long Highway.
A description of the dog was posted by the person who caught the her on the RI Lost Pets Facebook page.

The post says the dog was seen roaming the area for over a month.
The dog was then picked up by Little Compton Police and brought to the Sakonnet Veterinary Hospital, 1320 Main Road, according to the post.

The dog is a female labrador wearing a collar without dog tags. “She’s very sweet but a little skittish and very skinny,” wrote the person who found her.
The RI Lost Pets post has been shared on Facebook nearly 450 times. As of now, there has been no notice that the dog’s owners have been located.
