Frugal Family: Deals at The Red Parrot, Rite Aid and Sakonnet Vineyards

Welcome to the second week of Frugal Family, a weekly posting on Tiverton-Little Compton Patch where we will highlight some of the great local deals we have found for you - saving you time and money!

Start saving your coupons (hint, keep the flyers intact and date them as we will refer to them by date), and we will feature an extreme deal of the week, often using those coupons you thought wouldn’t ever add up to anything. This week, we’ll get started with a deal you don’t need a coupon for; but if you have one to use this week you could actually make money off this deal.

Deal: The Red Parrot in Newport has been having almost daily specials for $0.99. They have a highlighted special with a code word found on their Facebook page; mention it at the restaurant to obtain the deal. Past deals have been such things as shark bites, French onion soup and fish & chips.
Good through: New specials almost daily, become a fan on facebook to stay updated

Deal: February Red Sale.
All red wines are:
10% off 6 bottles
20% off mixed case
25% off full case of same wine
Good through: Feb. 28

3.  &
Deal: Colgate toothpaste sensitive or total advanced FREE with their rebate programs. Rite Aid uses + up rewards and CVS uses extra bucks. Using your shopper’s card at each store your receipt will print with coupon you can use at your next trip to the store. In this case, the coupon is the total amount of the toothpaste, making it FREE!
Good through: Feb. 19 in both stores.

4. Van Heusen Pre-Season Sale
Deal: Take 50% off the entire store. Take another 10-30% off most styles and save another 15% throughout the store
Good through: Feb. 21

5. Lazer Gate
Deal: NBC 10’s current un-real deal lets you purchase a $50 Lazer Gate gift card for $25. The certificates are good for lazer tag, mini golf, arcade coins and food at the snack bar. For those of you who receive the Tiverton town planner calendar, clip your two for one coupon at the bottom of each month to save even more! Lazer Gate’s school vacation pricing is 4 games for $18 per person (available during regular school hours only). Saturday special- 40 minute game  @11:40pm - $10 per player. These specials cannot be combined with the coupon.
Good through: It is unknown how long the NBC 10 deal will be available, so take advantage of it now!
