TIVERTON, RI — With temperatures steaming up on Sunday and early next week, Tiverton police remind everyone to take precautions to keep the pets safe in the heat. Most people know not to leave the pets in a car, even if they're only going to be away for a minute. But police say they receive lots of complaints about dogs left outside without shade and fresh water.
