Hit and Run Victim Improving, Reports Tiverton Police
The Tiverton police report that John Kieron, the victim hit by a car on Nov. 23, is still recovering in Rhode Island Hospital. The investigation for the sedan and driver are ongoing.

John Kieron, the 70-year-old Hilton Street resident reportedly at the intersection of Main and Hilton is "improving but still hospitalized" at Rhode Island Hospital, reported Lt. Patrick Jones late Friday.
Jones said Kieron was intubated and police are waiting for him improve enough to see if he can add any insight to the investigation.
"He's not well enough to speak to us," Jones said, adding that, most importantly, he's recovering from his injuries. "We want him to improve but we're not going to interfere with his healing process."

According to witnesses, Kieron was struck by a light-colored four-door sedan heading north on Main Road on Nov. 23. The vehicle fled the scene, traveling into Fall River. Police said the car sustained damage on the passenger side and the passenger's side rear view mirror.
Anyone who may have witnessed the accident, or may have any information on the vehicle, is urged to call 401-625-6716. The accident is under investigation by Tiverton Detectives Brendan McKinnon and Daniel Martin.
