
Kate Klim and Allie Farris, two great Nashville-based singer-songwriters, will be the featured performers at Tuesday Night Open Mic at Sandywoods on 9/17!
Kate & Allie's 45-minute set will start at 8 pm. FREE, but we'll pass the hat.
KATE KLIM is a pianist and singer-songwriter. The Boston Herald calls her "an angel-voiced balladeer and a best bet for folk-pop stardom." Kate has opened for artists like Shawn Colvin, Lucy Kaplansky, Richard Shindell, and Ollabelle. She won the 2010 Kerrville New Folk songwriting competition. This indie-pop songwriter and former Berklee student now makes Nashville her home.
Singer-songwriter and pianist ALLIE FARRIS writes and performs music that reflects her classic rock influences. Lush melodies coupled with a powerful vocal sound shape her songs of love and longing. Her six-song EP, "You Make Me Smile," was released in May 2012. She has opened for Jimmy LaFave and Seth Glier, and has appeared at such renowned venues as Club Passim in Cambridge, MA.
