LC Police Log: Rollover Crash, Scammer offers New Mercedes, $955,000 for $285 Green Dot Card
The following arrests and incidents were reported by Little Compton police. They do not indicate a conviction.

ARRESTS
- On Sept, 1 at 4:58 p.m., police charged Michael Peckham, 42 of 1119 Bedford St. Apt. #3, Fall River, with driving with a suspended license.
Peckham was stopped for a seat belt violation, and a subsequent records check revealed his license was suspended. Peckham was arrested and arraigned by a JP. - On Sept. 7 at 8:18 a.m., police charged Andrew Cavanaugh, 25, of 59 Long Highway, Little Compton, with driving with a suspended license. Cavanaugh was stopped for a motor vehicle violation, and a subsequent records check revealed his license was suspended. Cavanaugh was issued a Summons and released.
ACCIDENTS
- A Warrens Point Road woman’s car was struck by an unknown vehicle while it was parked across from the Parish house in the Commons On Sept. 2 at 2:27 p.m. Her vehicle was unattended at the time.
- An 87-year-old New Mexico woman was transported to the hospital on Sept. 4 at 8:55 a.m. after she struck a landscaping trailer while traveling north on West Main Road.
The vehicle rolled over and landed on its wheels, police said.
Police identified the victim as Agnes Langdon of Santa Fe. Her injuries were minor. - On Sept. 4 at 5:14 p.m., police responded to the intersection of Pottersville Road and Long Highway for a minor rear-end collision. No injuries were reported. The crash involved a 71-year-old Little Compton woman and a 56-year-old Natick, Mass. woman.

- A resident of Long Pasture Road reported a telephone scam requesting a Green Dot prepaid credit card of $285.00 in exchange for a 2014 Mercedes-Benz, $100,000 in cash, and an $855,000 cashier’s check on Sept. 4 at 11:57 a.m.
- On Sept. 6 at 11:58 a.m., A resident of Old Harbor Road reported her USPS package was stolen from her mailbox on 8/29/14
