Taunton Man Arrested For Suspended License, Warrant

Scottie T. Couto, 30, of Taunton, MA, was arrested on Sunday, July 15 at 9:57 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license. Police stopped Couto for a motor vehicle infraction when a subsequent showed that his license was suspended and that he had a warrant for his arrest for failure to pay district court fines. He was arrested, processed and later arraigned at the station.

Damaged Lifeguard Chair

A South Shore Beach employee reported on Wednesday, July 11 at 12:25 a.m. that someone moved a lifeguard chair to the water’s edge. They also reported damage to the chair.

Stolen Bicycle

A resident reported on Sunday, July 15 at 11:15 a.m. that someone stole his daughters bicycle whileit was parked in front of Corner Cones.
