Little Compton Police: Man in Accident Never Got Driver's License
Police said the 23-year-old Fall River man struck a lamppost.

A 23-year-old Fall River man that struck a lamp post in Adamville has been charged with driving without a license.
Little Compton police said Juan Sacancela, of 122 Cambridge St., struck the lamp post at around 12:36 p.m. on Aug. 24.
After a brief investigation, police said, Sacancela was discovered to have never obtained a license to drive.

He was subsequently arrested and later released with a future court date.
Little Compton police also charged 52-year-old Andrew Richard, of 2000 Bay St., Fall River, Mass., with a warrant for failing to appear in court after he was “encountered” by police on Aug. 18 at around 12:30 p.m.
