Little League Majors Girls All Star Team on a Winning Streak
The following write-up was submitted by Assistant Coach David Paull.
The Tiverton Little League Majors Girls All Star team has done it again.
After beating Barrington 10-0 last Wednesday night, the girls moved on to East Providence and played at Pierce Field on Friday evening.
The girls played a very smart and aggressive game. Every player contributed to the win with the help of phenomenal pitching by Alyssa Silveira and the winning run scored by Katelyn Farias in the bottom of the sixth on a hit by Cleo Allen.

Tiverton won the coin toss making them the home team. The battle took all of the six innings and Tiverton came out on top 4-3. Again, every player on the team contributed to the win with great bats and great fielding. East Providence played a great game and is a tough team. The EP girls deserve a ton of credit for playing hard until the end.
The next game is on tonight, July 5, at 5:45 p.m. at Town Farm against Riverside. It is a must-win game for the girls to move on as they are 3-1 in the All Star "season."
