Low-flying Helicopters Are Surveying Power Lines, Police Say
Police in Portsmouth and Tiverton say the low-flying helicopters are surveying power lines for National Grid.

TIVERTON, RI—Police in Portsmouth and in Tiverton have posted messages on social media about helicopters that have startled residents. According to police, there's no cause for concern. National Grid has hired the pilots to check the power lines. Police say the helicopter surveys happen several times every year.
