Mass. Man Charged with DUI in Little Compton
Plus: a wallet was found and returned, a shed was broken into and tools were stolen from a job site.

Little Compton police charged a 70-year-old Dover, Mass., man with driving under the influence on Friday after he was seen driving with two flat tires.
Police said Thomas Thornhill was seen driving north on West Main Road with flat tires at around 8:09 p.m.
Once stopped, police said he showed signs of intoxication and later, failed a field sobriety test.

He was also cited for refusing a chemical test.
Court records show Thornhill was released on surety bail and is due to appear in Second Division District Court on June 12 for arraignment.

Other police action in Little Compton last week:
On Friday, a resident told police that construction equipment was stolen from his job site on South Shore Road sometime overnight. Police are investigating.
On Saturday at around 4:38 p.m., a resident turned in a wallet found lying on Sakonnet Point Road. The owner of the wallet was contacted and it was returned.
On Sunday, a Bramblewood Cross resident told police that items were stolen from her shed. There were no signs of forced entry and the matter is under investigation. The incident was reported at 3:17 p.m.
