Newport Police Log: Recent Arrests

NEWPORT, RI — After several days of no arrests, police on Thursday charged a Newport woman who was wanted on two court warrants. Then early Friday, they arrested a Tiverton man. Here are the recent arrests from the police log.
May 11
Brittany Rosseau, 23, of Newport, was being served at the Pineapple Inn with a subpoena from New York Family Court on Thursday. Police realized she was also wanted on two bench warrants from Newport District Court. They took her into custody on the warrants at 8:30 p.m.

Police arrested Jamon Brant, 20, of Tiverton, at 2:10 a.m. on Friday on Wheatland Boulevard. He was charged with Disorderly conduct; Resisting arrest; and as a minor in possession of alcohol.
