Police Log: Deer Collides With Vehicle, Arrest for Domestic Vandalism
Excerpts from the Little Compton Police Department log.

Monday, Dec. 8
At 6:04 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident on West Main Road in which a deer ran into and dented the driver’s side door of a vehicle. The driver was uninjured and police could not locate the deer.

At 6:23 p.m., police reported an incident on Long Highway regarding an open window that had been previously locked. There was no sign of damage and no items were taken from the residence.

At 9:16 a.m., police arrested Dawn Brooks Rapp, 52, 9 Simmons Road, for driving on a suspended license and failure to complete driver training. Police arrested Rapp after they stopped Rapp’s vehicle for a speeding violation.
At 12:44 p.m., police arrested Gabriel Munoz, 19, 39 Old Stone Church Road, on a warrant from the Portsmouth Police Department.
Friday, Dec. 12
At 10:57 p.m., police arrested Janelle Sartini, 21, East View Drive, for domestic vandalism and on a warrant from the Portsmouth Police Department. Police reported Sartini destroyed a door window frame.
Saturday, Dec. 13
At 2:42 p.m., police reported an incident at Warrens Point Beach Club in which the gravel in the parking lot had been purposely torn up. Police reported there was extensive damage to the parking lot.
At 11:50 p.m., a woman was summonsed for driving on a suspended license for failure to pay or appear regarding an out of state citation. Police stopped her vehicle for having expired registration stickers on her vehicle.
EDITOR’S NOTE: Patch was notified that the person charged with driving on a suspended license on Dec. 13 was summonsed and not put into custody.
