Police Log: Driver Loses Control, Crashes into Stone Wall

Monday, Jan. 19

At 10:37 a.m., police arrested Thomas Santanelli, 49, 67 Vanner St. of Johnston, and charged him for driving with a suspended license. Officers stopped Santanelli’s vehicle on West Main Road for a motor vehicle violation.

At 2:35 p.m., police arrested Juan Collazi, 45. 243 Central Avenue of East Providence, and charged him for driving with a suspended license. Officers stopped Collazi’s vehicle on West Main Road for a motor vehicle violation.

Tuesday, Jan. 20

At 3:36 p.m., a 49-year-old Fall River resident was summonsed for driving with an expired license. Officers stopped the resident’s vehicle on West Main Road for a motor vehicle violation.

Saturday, Jan. 24

At 4:52 a.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident on Long Highway in which a vehicle struck a stone wall. The driver, a Little Compton resident said he lost control of the vehicle due to the snow. The driver was uninjured and his vehicle was towed from the scene. The stone wall was heavily damaged, police said.
