Police Log: Drunk Driver Gets Truck Stuck on Top of a Large Rock

Monday, Jan. 5
At 12:43 p.m., police reported larceny of fishing oiler waders that were missing from a shed on Pottersville Road

At 9:15 a.m., police arrested Gerald Montigny, 59, 80A Long Highway, for domestic felony assault and domestic simple assault. Police responded to a report of past domestic assault and arrested Montigny.
At 11:53 p.m., police arrested Nancy Cercier, 52, 80B Long Highway, for driving under the influence of .15 or greater and driving after suspension of license. Police observed a pickup truck, operated by Cercier, revving its engine and spinning its tires on the front lawn of a residence on Long Highway. Officers discovered the truck was wedged on top of a large rock.

Friday, Jan. 9
At 2:43 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident in which a 17-year-old male struck a telephone pole’s support cable after he attempted to turn on Oak Forrest Drive in icy conditions. No injuries were reported.
Saturday, Jan. 10
At 9:01 p.m., police summonsed a 37-year-old male for a license suspension. Police issued a motor vehicle stop of the suspect’s vehicle for a tail lamp violation on West Main Road.
