Pumpkin Contest Spook-Tacular Raising Funds for Little Compton PST

The first annual Little Compton PST pumpkin carving contest and fundraiser kicks off on Wednesday.

Kids ages 10 and under can carve or paint their own pumpkins at the Pumpkin Contest Spook-tacular.

The kids who design the best, most creative and spookiest pumpkins will win a prize.

“This is the inaugural event,” said Corrie Martin, Little Compton PST member.

Martin said she is expecting about 20 kids to attend.

The event will take place at Crowther’s Restaurant, 90 Pottersville Road, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Event proceeds will benefit Little Compton PST.

Martin said the Little Compton PST holds fundraisers throughout the year to offset the cost of the activities and events they sponsor.

Entry is $10. The Little Compton PST will provide pumpkins for all of the kids as well as painting and carving tools.

Cash or checks are accepted at the door.
