Sakonnet Schooners Cheerleaders Head To New England Regionals
The regional qualifiers are this Sunday in Springfield, MA.
Sakonnet Schooners Pop Warner Cheerleading is participating in the New England Regional Qualifiers this Sunday, Nov. 6 in Springfield, MA. The teams consist of Junior PeeWees (8- to 10-year-olds), Junior Midgets (10- to 13-year-olds) and Midgets (12- to 15-year-olds).
These teams placed first and second at the Rhode Island and Southeast Massachusetts Association state championship held on Oct. 22 at the Providence Technical Center.
If any of these teams place first or second this weekend, they will move to compete at the New England Regional Competition to be held on Nov. 19 at the DCU Center in Worcester.
