Sakonnet Schooners Cheerleaders Advance to Next Round in Regionals
The Midgets, Junior Peewees and Junior Midgets compete next Saturday, Nov. 19 in Worcester.
Sakonnet Schooners Pop Warner Cheerleading continued their success last weekend at the New England Regional Qualifiers, with the Midget team placing first, the Junior Peewees placing second and the Junior Midgets placing fourth.
All three teams will be moving on to New England Regional Competition next Saturday, Nov. 19 at the DCU Center in Worcester.
If any of these teams place first or second, they will be moving on to nationals, which will be held in Florida on Dec. 9. According to parent and team mom Renee Sartini, they are now looking for corporate sponsors to help with the trip to Florida, if they place next weekend.
