Tiverton and Fall River rescue workers were out on the water today searching for a homeless man.

TIVERTON, RI — Tiverton Fire Chief Robert Lloyd said the search for a missing man is still ongoing Friday.
Fire and rescue crews searched waters off the north end of town for a missing man Thursday morning. Portsmouth Marine 1, Fall River rescue, and the Coast Guard also responded.
According to the Coast Guard, an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter left Air Station Cape Cod and searched from the air but did not find the man. The Coast Guard also sent a 45-foot rescue boat from Castle Hill, Newport, but that boat also has returned without finding the man.
