Second Route 24 Accident Involves 3 Cars: Multiple Reports

Tiverton rescue workers and police responded to two accidents on Route 24 today.

TIVERTON, RI — Rescue workers put in a busy day on Tuesday dealing with two accidents. The first one occurred during the morning commute near the Fall River line. The Jaws of Life were used to extricate one patient.

Then around 3 p.m., according to multiple news sources, three cars were involved in another accident on Route 24 near Fish Road. Fire Chief Robert Lloyd said one patient was seriously injured and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital.
