Tiverton Barber Faces Drug Charges

Upper Cuts on Main Street was doing a brisk business in heroin, police allege.

TIVERTON, RI—Jesse Rego, owner of Upper Cuts Barber Shop, is due in Newport District Court this morning to face allegations he was selling heroin from his shop at 434 Main St. Police and the Bristol County Sheriff's Office raided the business Tuesday around 12:15 p.m. They had a search warrant. Police said they seized 170 bags of heroin and $571 in cash. Rego, 39, of Tiverton, is charged with Possession with intent to deliver.
