Tiverton Boys' Basketball Stuns Barrington 53-52

The Tiverton High School boys' basketball team defeated Barrington on Tuesday night 53-52, according to the Rhode Island Interscholastic League.

It was senior night for players Geoffrey McNally (captain), Jordan Hancock, Joshua Lis, Alexander Rosa (captain), Kyle Vasconcelos (captain) and Adam Lavoie. Tiverton Head Coach Jerry Arcuoette's reportedly announced it was his final home game at Tiverton and announced his retirement.

Tiverton is riding a nice season-ending winning streak, defeating Pilgrim High School 58-43 on Feb. 17 and rival Rogers High School 47-46 on Feb. 14.

The Tigers head into the Div. II playoffs with a 10-8 league record. The RIIL Credit Union Boys Basketball Championship pairings are at 9 p.m. tonight on Cox Channel 3.
