Tiverton Democratic Committee Endorses Regunberg

TIVERTON-LITTLE COMPTON, RI - From Aaron Regunberg: Wednesday, the Tiverton Democratic Committee announced their endorsement of State Representative Aaron Regunberg for Lieutenant Governor. Tiverton is the third municipal Democratic Committee to endorse Regunberg in the Lt. Governor’s race following East Providence and Coventry.

Mike Burk, Chairman of the Tiverton Democratic Committee, said,“The Tiverton Democratic Committee is proud to endorse Rep. Regunberg for Lt. Governor. Aaron is a tireless advocate for Rhode Islanders. Whether it is standing up to pharmaceutical corporations or fighting to secure a living wage and healthcare for every Rhode Islander, Aaron will be the champion working people need in the State House.”

Aaron Regunberg proudly accepted the endorsement, saying, “I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Tiverton Democratic Committee in my campaign for Lieutenant Governor. I am grateful to the committee for its work standing up for our Democratic values in Tiverton, and I'm excited to keep fighting alongside them in this campaign.”

The endorsement vote occurred on Wednesday, June 6th.
