Tiverton High School hosted the annual Newport County College Fair Thursday.
The Herald News reported that the gymnasium was opened to representatives from 100 colleges as well as financial aid officers and placement personnel.
College representatives were alphabetically arranged at tables in six rows. Also present were representatives from the four branches of the armed services, Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy, the IYRS School of Technology and Trades and the Rhode Island Manufacturers Association. Brochures, business cards and college aid applications were available at all the tables.
