Tiverton PD Cold Case - Hit and Run Death Resulting

The Tiverton Police department is requesting your help with an unsolved case. On 11/23/11 at approximately 1709 hours, a pedestrian was struck on Main Rd. at the intersection of Hilton St. The pedestrian, a 70 year old male, later died from his injuries. After striking the pedestrian, the suspect vehicle continued traveling north into Fall River. Witnesses described the vehicle as being a light colored 4 door sedan (possibly an older Nissan Maxima). During the accident, the vehicle sustained damage to the passenger side rear view mirror which was completely broken off and laying in the roadway.
