Tiverton Police Find Loaded Firearms in Vehicle

Police discovered the man was involved in suspected narcotics activity in the area.

Tiverton Police arrested a man on Tuesday who was reportedly in possession of seven firearms in his vehicle.

John Feyerabend, 51, was arrested and charged with seven counts of possession of a firearm without a permit to carry, according to the Tiverton Police Department Facebook page.

Three out of the seven firearms were loaded, police said.

Police stopped a vehicle operated by Feyerabend on Main Road and discovered he was involved in narcotics activity nearby.

Police seized the firearms and he was arraigned in District Court on Wednesday.
