Tiverton Police Teaming With Local Religious Groups To Hold Food Drive
The food drive will take place from Oct. 2 to 10 and benefit the local food bank.
TIVERTON, RI — The Tiverton Police Department is teaming up with religious organizations in town to host a food drive for the holiday season.
The collaboration is part of the national initiative called Faith and Blue, which aims to build community through law enforcement and local residents working with faith-based organizations. All non perishable food donations will benefit the town's food bank.
The food drive will take place from Oct. 2 to 10. Those who wish to donate can email any of the following people involved:
