Tiverton Police Warn Residents to Secure Lawn Equipment after Thefts

If you have a habit of leaving your lawnmower out, or have some random metal items in your yard, Tiverton police are suggesting you get them out of sight and secured.

There has been a number of thefts of lawn equipment and miscellaneous metal items from yards in the north end of town, the Tiverton Police Department said in a post on its Facebook page.

“These culprits are targeting items they can scrap for cash,” Police said. “Residents are asked to secure property and report ANY suspicious activity.”
