Tiverton U16 Girls' Soccer Advances To RI Cup Tournament
The Tiverton U16 girls' soccer team in Super Liga defeated Cranston recently to move on to the Rhode Island Cup Tournament.

The Tiverton U16 girls soccer team won the Rhode Island Super Liga Championship this month. According to Head Coach Chris Benevides, they defeated Cranston 3-2 in an exciting match at the Burrilville Soccer Complex.
He said Hannah Wilkie scored two goals and Brook Hawkins had one to lead Tiverton to the championship. Allison Benevides, Mackenzie Mello and Regan Burke each had an assist and keeper Abby Wilkie made several huge saves.
The girls had a regular season record of 8-0 while allowing just seven goals all season, and they will now compete in the Rhode Island Cup Tournament, starting next week.
